Devin Andersen is a Fine Artist and Fabricator based in Los Angeles. Originally from Milwaukee Wisconsin, Andersen received his BFA in Fine Arts from Otis College of Art and Design (2013). Out of college, Devin was Co-Owner and Curator of the DIY gallery in the West Adams area of Los Angeles, “The Barber Shop Art Space,” from 2013-2015. At that time He was also part of a Los Angeles based art collective called Arts Faculty. In recent years, he has been working as a Construction Coordinator, Fabricator, Installer for Fine Artists, Photography and Film Production as well as his fine art work.

As an experienced fabricator, he explores the mediums used in production jobs and the reuse of material found in the streets of Los Angeles to be incorporated into his mixed media paintings. This interplay between found objects, discarded industrial material and faux finish style of painting informs the majority of Andersen’s work. Recently He has been collaborating with his partner Alexis Branger on more aesthetically refined paintings along with his personal works.
